If desperate to get it working you could do a work around and wire up the fan to a switch on the dashboard and switch it on and off manually when needed. Of course make sure switch and cable is of adequate amp rating with fuse (otherwise you could have a fire). The clamps are now tight, and all the dash lights come on, headlights, indicators work, radio works, clocks work, but the starter doesn't engage. There is no clicking of any kind from the starter, not even a single click. Its as if the starter isn't there! And I can't see how a loose battery clamp would affect the starter motor once re Hi all, I recently (last 2 days) have been having an issue with my dash display, all the lights etc come on but the speedometer, fuel gauge and temperature gauge to not activate, they stay on zero. What could be causing this problem? It is intermittent, sometimes turning engine off and back on again fixes it, sometimes I need to do it 10-15 Check battery voltage. If battery voltage is low some things wont work, heated screen will not switch on if voltage is not high enough to confirm the alternator is charging. You might have a weak battery or failing alternator. Also check earth connections, the one on the gearbox has been known to come loose and cause odd electrical problems. A light on the dash confirms that they’re on. For a guide to symbols on your dashboard, just check your Owner’s Manual. TOP TIP: Get someone to help you. You can operate the lights whilst they check they’re working. Walk around the car and check each light. Tap each lamp to help detect any loose electrical connections. See whether that makes any difference. 1. Faulty sensor. One of the most common reasons for the airbag light to turn on in Mondeo is a faulty sensor. The airbag system relies on a network of sensors to detect a crash and deploy the airbags. If one of these sensors is damaged or malfunctioning, it can cause the airbag light to turn on. iw6Z45e.
