Field flipping is completely op. I haven't really read much about it since 22 came out, so I figured I share this with new players who maybe haven't thought of it. The easiest way to make money at the start without outright cheating is to flip fields. Just buy them when fruits are ready to harvest - harvest them and sell them back for full price.
Crop rotation is one of the biggest and, at the same time, not quite clear changes when compared to the basic version of Farming Simulator 19. Planting the same plant in the same field for several consecutive seasons is not a good idea ( with a few exceptions ).

Field Edge Path Number is exactly what you need to click on, pick a number and save the outline to that. Then when you go into the course planner you can pull that number up in the Field Option, then set the rest of your course options like headlands, width, rows etc, then hit generate course button and you should be good to go.
This week I've started trying to work out the minimum possible field sizes I would need to keep certain production chains running continuously - for example, the bakery turns 90L flour into 45L bread per cycle with 48 cycles per month (using 1 day months) (90x48)x12 = 51,840L of flour is required per year
